THE CHALLENGE

Keep Walton County Beautiful is an official affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. The mission of this organization is to preserve the environment by empowering individuals to participate in the protection and enhancement of the local community.

THE PROCESS

To begin, I created a mood board for the KWCB site that encompassed their values. The photography, visuals, and color usage needed to convey a strong focus on nature. Next, I created a typographical hierarchy for development and added icons and textures to give the site depth.

THE RESULT

On the site, users will find resources for beautification initiatives, litter prevention, waste reduction, and recycling. There are various calls to action to volunteer and get involved in the community as well as stats to show users the actual implications of ongoing local conservation efforts.
